A list of frequently/sometimes asked questions!

How long have you been baking?

I honestly cannot remember! Ever since I was a little girl I would bake with my mom. Our favorites were chocolate chip cookies, mandelbread, hamantaschen and banana bread.

Do you have any professional training?

No – I have not been to culinary school! Though I have taken some courses/classes on and off (as well as had a temporary internship in high school). Otherwise, self-taught, self-learned!

Why didn’t my recipe turn out just like yours?

Baking is all about science! When ingredients are combined, there are many different factors that can contribute to how a baked item turns out. These can include, but are not limited to, altitude, temperature, actual oven heat, standing time, cooling time, etc. Baking takes practice and time to perfect! I try to write my recipes in an easy to follow manner, but if you have any questions or comments regarding details – feel free to reach out!

When is your wedding?

May 2017 – Just cannot wait!

Have you picked out a dress yet??

No, I have not! Right now I am focusing on the bigger picture details – vendors, style, decor. Dress comes next!

What wedding venue did you end up choosing?

We chose to have our wedding at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. We are just THRILLED about this choice! Everyone at Willowdale has been so incredibly wonderful to work with so far – especially Kaitlin Umbro! Love her!! We just cannot wait to have our wedding there.
